Of LEAPing Up High

I am reborn.

I never knew that that fateful long weekend (4 days to be exact) would change my life, would change the way I look at the world, and would change the way I see myself.

This year has been filled with so much learning and realization that every day would have been blog worthy. My excuse of not having enough time to write about it is not an acceptable excuse but for this one particular experience, I just have to write it down. I know that it will forever be etched in my heart, but to solidify it here shows how unimaginable it was for me that I was able to go through that transformation.

That experience along with 72 others is an experience that I will never exchange for anything. I know that after that, everything is possible and that everything will work out great. Life has never been this exciting. I wake up every day feeling like a high school student in love. And yet, truly, I am in love. I am in love with LIFE.

What have I learned? I learned FREEDOM. I learned that I am FREE to be who I really am, that I have the power to reach for my dreams and achieve them.

My contract. I am a strong, passionate and powerful woman.

One will never know how to be 100% until one has actually experienced it. After that, things are never the same and being 100% is everything becomes easier and natural. Thank you for the experience.

Thank you LEAP! Thank you Pax and Gina for bringing LEAP to the Philippines! Thank you Siamy and Xavier for being so generous and amazing! Thank you to the crew for your contribution and to the 60 participants who also gave their 100%. You are all the best!

In Creating Our History

Last July, I went back to Singapore to witness history being created. It was an amazing experience seeing people of all background rise to the top and reach their dreams. It was an overwhelming experience.

In Expecting Great Things

I had an amazing day!

I have learned over and over again how positive thoughts can change your life but I never really fully applied it in my life. Just recently, because I have been reading more often and listening to audio more frequently, I decided to fully incorporate positivity in my life. The moment I wake up, I am grateful for the most amazing things that will happen the whole day and I end my day by saying a heartfelt thank you for everything that did happen that day. If it felt that nothing good happened, I try as much to find even the slightest good news. Even the fact that I was able to drink cold water when it's hot outside or that a friend gave me free candies. I learned to see the best in everything and dismissed the things that will give me worry. If I find myself worried, I pray, and then I listen to audios to boost my energy and be back to being excited.

It paid off and I am excited to more amazing things that will happen.

Today, I signed a contract with my new business partner! I am really so excited!

This morning, I said to myself - sincerely and genuinely - Today is going to be great, I just know it!

Thank you for this amazing day and may you always have an amazing day as mine!

Buenas Dias!

Of Soul Of Success

I welcomed June 2013 by attending our S7S Training and it has been a day of learning, realization and change. I am so excited and pumped up that I know my June is going to be great!

The Soul of Success:
1. Accept who you are -- because you can be anything that you wanted to be.
2. Let things be -- because the only thing that you can control is yourself.

Of A Life Well-Lived

My grandfather passed away early this morning. He was the only grandfather I knew back when I was growing up, I met my other grandfather just a few years ago.

He was my mom's dad, and we lovingly call him Lolo Roging. I got to know him as someone strict and stern. In some occasions (and there were quite a few) that he drinks, he was a jolly person. When he was a bit drunk and all the grandchildren were visiting, he would bring all fourteen of us to a halo-halo (a Filipino sweet delicacy consisting of red and white beans, jellies of red and green color, fruits like bananas, mango, jack fruit and melons and with lots of ice and milk, topped with leche flan (caramel cream), ube (sweet taro) and ice cream -- in short, a yummy treat!) and whatever else we would want. He would wake up the next day wondering where his money went and my grandmother would smile as she tells him what happened.
I remember those times when he would pick us girls at a party saying that it was already late for us to be staying there (it was just 8pm and the party hasn't even started it). My sister went to her prom and my lolo, being the sweet person that he is, stayed until the event was over.
One thing that I admire about him is that he was a one woman man. He loved Lola (grandmother) so much, that even when he was at his prime, he would not be able to sleep without Lola by his side. They married when Lola was sixteen and they were together for more than fifty years. Whenever Lola was out of town visiting any of us, he calls her everyday. He taught me that there are indeed men out there who are loyal and is capable of loving one person for the rest of their life.
He always felt that he was never given the chance to reach his full potential. He worked for the government for many years but never got to build so much for himself. He lived an honest life and that is why he served without putting money in his pocket. He did try his best to provide for his family.

For me, he lived well. He is loved by his family. He is loved by his friends. He is admired by many.

Lolo, thank you for teaching me a lot of things. That integrity is very important especially in dealing with people and that loving someone means accepting everything about them. Thank you for showing me that giving means not expecting something in return and that life is meant to be lived one day at a time.

I love you. We will miss you. I pray that you are happier where you are now. May you rest in peace.

Of Faith And Loyalty

I never realized that my understanding of the word "loyalty" has been by far, quite shallow and biased.

Of Trust And Forgiveness

I am NOT a fan of Sarah Geronimo anymore, as of the moment, I am now one of her BIGGEST fans. The movie It Takes A Man And A Woman shows how much Sarah is maturing as an actress.

Sarah should be given more roles and story plot such as this one.

Of Rules For Happiness

"Feel your emotions but never feed it."

Happiness is a choice, but how hard is it really, for most people to chose to be happy?

I attended The Feast Pasig celebration and I agree with Bro. Obet Cabrillas when he said that each of us can have a sophisticated or simple rules for happiness:
1. "I am happy when I already get what I want" or "I am happy whenever I take a step closer to my dreams."
2. "I am happy when everything goes my way" or "I am happy when all things happen for my good."

Bro. Obet made a lot of sense, if we put a high standard on happiness, it would be hard for us to be truly happy. Choose instead to find Happiness in small things and you'll be amazed at how things work out.

If you want to be happy, be. Buenas Dias!

Of Being Truly Rich

They say that there are three kinds of RICH people:
1. The FILTHY Rich
2. The GUILTY Rich
3. and The TRULY Rich

It is a given that we must all earn a living to feed our family and provide the people that we love the best life that we could possible give them. The question, is that, are we are aiming to be rich?

The irony of life is that, most people wants to be rich, but not everyone can be one. Why?

It all boils down to MINDSET.

Filthy rich people are those who are so rich but they have hatred and anger in their hearts.
Guilty rich people are those who are earning a lot of money, but because they associate being rich to being bad, they are unhappy.
Truly rich people are those who are rich and they they use their riches to bless, help and inspire other people so that others may be rich and blessed as well.

What kind of rich person would you want to be.
Made you think, right? Buenos Dias!
